Line Manager  

  • Eligibility : Masters in Business Administration preferred
  • Age: above 40 years
  • Experience: 10 years or more in Managerial level, with Shipping Line or NVOCC.
  • Responsibilities include: 1. To Identify, Develop and Manage the short and long term budgets and plans for the company in order to achieve the liner sales revenue, volumes and profit targets in line with the business goals 2. Contribute to the design of liner trade lanes and solutions to meet the target needs of the market. 3. Feedback on competition activity and market intelligence from the region to enable management to understand the markets, identify potential industry verticals and strengthen service capability 4. Plan, organise and execute agent strategies in order to achieve or exceed budgeted sales revenues and volumes for the division. 5. Identify and create long term business relationships with vendors in the local market in order to establish partnerships for providing competent liner solutions 6. Responsible for target volume growth and maintaining market share in the relevant territory for liner service 7. Monitor and control compliance to legal requirements in all operating regions and ports 8. To have comprehensive knowledge of Trade lane wise commodity movements 9. To plan, manage and control inventory for the NVOCC service. 10. Ability to establish and manage liner agents in required countries.
