 IAL renders Supply Chain Logistics Solutions from the very first mile to the last mile of the Supply Chain Process. 

IAL established its first company in 1992, IAL Container Line (UK) Ltd offering point-to-point marine transportation. IAL operated its own fleet of ships to service trade between the Middle East and the Indian Sub-continent. Today, we cover the entire spectrum of logistics services ranging from Liner Shipping, Shipping Agencies, Global Supply Chain Logistics, Fine Art Logistics, Project Logistics and Pre-engineered modular construction. 

With an initial outlay of 15 staff in 1992, the Group today employs a multi-cultural team of over 500 professionals across its 10 companies and 30 own offices in the Middle East, Indian Sub-continent, South East Asia, UK and the USA.

Chairman

Holding a Master’s Degree in Physics from Kerala University, Kochi, India and a Masters in Business Administration from Cochin University, Kochi, India, T.V.N Kutty, IAL Group founder, has 33 years of professional experience in Banking and Shipping.

He started his career in 1972 as Probationary Officer with India's leading public sector bank, State Bank of India, and held managerial positions with the bank for 13 years in Industrial credit, Retail and International banking.

From 1985 to 1987, he continued to build his management career working with a reputed American shipping line in India – gaining valuable experience within the private sector.
In 1987, his career took an entrepreneurial turn when he jointly promoted Seacrest Shipping Services with a UK-based shipping company, to manage common carrier feeder services in India and the Middle East. When the contract with the UK principal expired in 1988, he continued to operate Seacrest through joint ventures.

Mr. Kutty has never looked back since then. In 1992, on expiry of Seacrest’s joint venture contracts, he conceived and established IAL Container Line (UK) Ltd, spearheading the growth of the IAL Group. Today,he remains completely hands-on – running the business as an integral part of the group’s Senior Management Team.

Arjun Menon

Group CEO

Arjun Menon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Management Techniques from the University of Edinburgh in the UK. He joined the IAL Group in 2002 and has since established his own entrepreneurial ventures in manufacturing and trading.

He continues to play an important role in developing IAL Group strategy, new business activities, Branding and Corporate Communications.

He is currently Managing Director of Smart Box Industries and Executive Director of all other IAL Group companies – a driving force in the group’s initiatives in Design, Planning, Finance, Production and Execution.

Alexander Joseph

General Manager-Group operations

After his Mechanical engineering course in Bangalore,             Mr. Alexander Joseph joined the shipping industry with Maltrans Shipping Agency, Mumbai for handling Operation, Vessel husbanding and Planning for IAL Container Line (UK) Ltd in 1992.

In 1994, he started his shipping career in Dubai with Penguin Shipping LLC as Operation Executive – looking after Vessel Planning and Operations. Since then he has been actively involved in development of Liner Shipping as agents for IAL Container Line (UK) Ltd , CFS Operation , development of LCL's from India to Middle East , Warehousing and Distribution in UAE and General Freight Forwarding . He was actively involved to start IAL ART Logistics LLC in Abu Dhabi which handled events like Le Louvre Museum Exhibition, Picasso Exhibition, Art Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Biennial etc. in UAE. He further went to start IAL Logistics LLC in Belapur, Mumbai to restart LCL consolidation into Middle East and develop GFF from Mumbai as part of IAL Logistics Emirates LLC.

He continues to travel extensively to India for development of LCL's and GFF, and European countries for the development of Art Logistics.
